Randeep Hooda and Shahana Goswami set the screen afire with 10 passionate kisses in Ru Ba Ru.

After scoring a hit with Jannat, Percept Picture Company is poised to present their latest venture, Ru Ba Ru, a modern day romance with thrilling elements.

The film marks the return of the talented Randeep Hooda. An additional attraction to Ru Ba Ru is the presence of the talented Shahana Goswami who has recently wowed audiences with a stunning performance in Rock On.

Lead role

Goswami's sensitive portrayal of a distraught wife in Rock On struck everyone who watched it, making it appear like her debut role. Not many may know that she had earlier made her debut in Naseeruddin Shah's Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota and was later seen as Boman Irani's wild teenage daughter in Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.

"I started acting when I was in college and did whatever films
I was offered. In fact, I landed the lead role in Ru Ba Ru much before Rock On happened. I was lucky to be called for an audition which won me the role of Debbie in Rock On and I got an opportunity to star opposite Arjun Rampal and also act along with Farhan Akhtar which was an exciting experience," says Goswami.

Right now, the talented actress cannot conceal her excitement over her first role as a lead heroine.

Sizzling chemistry

After a class act opposite the hot Rampal, Goswami will be seen sharing the screen with the good-looking Hooda.

What does she think of Hooda as an actor? "He is a talented actor and can surprise you with his skills. Like Arjun, Randeep was also very supportive and helped me with a lot of scenes. Thanks to his inputs, our onscreen rapport has turned out very well," she says.

Both Hooda and Goswami will be scorching the screen with 10 passionate kisses. Even though she's doing such scenes for the first time, Goswami is unperturbed.

She says, "In the film we are showing a couple who are involved in a live-in relationship and such passionate moments are natural. As a professional actress I should not shy away from scenes that make sense to the film's plot."

Lucky right hand

After a cameo in Monsoon Wedding and some action flicks such as D and Risk, Hooda will be doing his first romantic film.

It's quite unlikely for someone to get hurt while shooting a romantic film, but Hooda injured his right hand after it hit broken glass during a romantic scene in Bangkok. He was left with a serious injury to his palm, bringing shooting to a halt for some time.

Incidentally, he started his acting career with a broken right hand and is seen in his debut film, Monsoon Wedding with a cast, which became part of the script. The film went on to become an international hit.

So we hope that this time too his injured right hand brings
him luck.
