Rahman will perform at the inaugural ceremony for the Indian & American Achiever Awards.


One of India’s most prolific music composers internationally, AR Rahman will next be seen performing the Indian National Anthem Jana Gana Mana at the John F Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington D.C.

Rahman will perform at the inaugural ceremony for the Indian & American Achiever Awards. Rahman says, It is my great honour to be able to sing India’s National Anthem during the 60th Year of Independence Celebrations in the heart of the US Capital.

Now that’s one feather in India’s cap, right?
