In order to translate quality from concept to reality, DHCC and its strategic collaborator Harvard Medical International (HMI) have established the Center for Healthcare Planning & Quality (CPQ), a joint initiative of the two partners.
Utilizing a panel of internationally recognized leaders in health care quality, HMI has led the development of a quality management plan to be implemented under the auspices of the CPQ throughout DHCC.
This quality management structure will support high-quality patient care throughout DHCC, while providing each health care organization in DHCC with the tools and measures needed to guide continuous improvement. CPQ is a regulatory body that is governed by a Board of Managers who report to the DHCC Board of Directors. DHCC is a member of Tatweer.
The licensing of clinical healthcare professionals and clinical operator facility permits at DHCC for both conventional and Complementary & Alternative Medicine services is authorized by an independent licensing board which works closely with CPQ in its administration of licensing and quality monitoring.
