Dubai: A dental clinic has been shut down and a private medical clinic suspended for violating the rules of the Ministry of Health.

The Medical Licensing Committee, chaired by Dr Amin Hussain Al Miri, Executive Director of the Medical Practices and Licensing Affairs at the Ministry of Health, has decided to shut down the dental clinic and cancel the licence of the medical centre for violating health rules.

The dental clinic was found to be employing a nurse with a forged letter of appointment, while the medical centre recruited a physician who was suspended by the Ministry of Health.

Another dental centre was closed for two months to bring conditions up to ministry standards.
