Amlak Finance has announced that it will consider job cuts at its board meeting on Jan 31. The Dubai-based mortgage lender, whose shares have been suspended since the announcement in November that it will merge with Tamweel, said its board will also discuss the merger proceedings, real-estate investments and earnings for 2008, the company said in a statement today.
